feeling older

So we had a $300 grocery shopping bill two weeks ago. The most groceries either of us have ever bought! Granted, we rarely go for full-blown grocery shopping (we have two (somewhat pricey) 24hr grocery stores, a fruit and vegetable stand and a natural food store on our block) so we stocked up on cheap commodities, but Jesus Christ. 

Thankfully, I just received my largest zine order ever, over $200, for a literature course in a Québec City cégep.  So that should balance my finances out a bit.

I need a zine icon. Actually I need a whole slew of new icons, I'm sick of most of them, and some are out of date.


Tabnet is still down, hence this entry. Ugh.

Not the Monkey Island ones, though, of course! With the Pirates of the Carribbean phenomenon in play, these only get more and more topical!

They are, but moreover, pirates will never get out of style for me!
