I clicked on one of my more clever tags here and hit upon an old livejournal post with 45 comments, which is A LOT for me. Turns out some weird yorku phd relativist came to argue about veganism. I wonder if I ever got to know them personally--I don't recognize their alias. But what was salient in the thread was some friends I used to chat with, and have now drifted away. One I was really close to, too close...
