Dreamwidth ban

Today I have learned that you can ban a fellow user, and then they can't interact with you even though they can see whatever you let them see, and they can still read your comments on anyone's pages. I have learned this when trying to post an innocuous reply to a user I don't ever recall being cross to, though it's not impossible because I can be a dick sometimes. Whoop!

It's entirely possible to ban somebody by accident. I've done it and I've had it happen to me. Instead of vagueposting, if you're sure you've never had a fight with this person I'd actually post their username and say "Hey, did you mean to ban me?" and see if that resolves the issue.

I wasn't naming them because 1) they don't follow me and 2) I didn't want to publicly shame them :P

I'm also surprised because there are a couple other people I've been wanting to ban from talking to me on other pages and I didn't know I could do it this way!

Anyway, I'll slip a note to a common friend see what happens. Thanks for the heads up on the accidental bans.
