Thanks. Higher pay would be nice, but what I lost was a /really/ nice workplace with great people, and that's what I'm really looking for.

Unfortunately it is an all-remote startup, so usually out of physical reach. They /are/ having their in-person summit this coming week in my hometown for which I was still entitled to use the airplane ticket to go to, so I could have "gone in to say my goodbyes" ;) But really everyone there was nice and I don't want to infect my family either. :P

Yeah as a stock option holder I was part of the mailing group to the "investors" and we got a fairly upbeat letter in early May... and then basically a week after I went to vacation they decided a bunch of things were not right and to cut a number of jobs to keep their runway. Getting a taste of the startup life!
