I should specify that this is the guy that delayed the meeting from starting so he could tell us that we should stop spending so much time on details so that we can discuss the bigger issues in the time allotted. Same to you, my man, same to you. Guy is also not raising his zoom hand and waiting for his turn before talking. Get fucked.

We seem to have a very qualified bookkeeper but who also suffers from run-on speechifying and interruptitis. Thankfully I had prompted this meeting's chair to keep us on topic so she's making her best effort...

Our previous management company reported most "actual" revenue lines as "potential" and moved all real losses to "accounts payable" that could never be collected, so we never had a real "actual" picture. Fuck me. Thankfully we're fixing that...

Back when I had meetings to run, I sometimes scheduled them for 1/2-hour before quitting time, b/c NO one was going to tolerate time-wasting like that.

Haha nice. Unfortunately in our case the meetings start at 6:30pm (with dinner paid as our one board perk) and we aim for 9pm but 10pm is the more regular end time, with other issues to be addressed in a supplementary meeting or deferred to later. We've stopped driving meetings to 11pm though which is an improvement. :)

Nice to have dinner thrown in, but at this point, I don’t have the patience for any meeting over 2 hours. Well, barely patience for anything over 2 minutes, but can sometimes make 2 hours.
