Summer of Bare-Chested Heads of Government

Some people in the Kremlin must have been getting some ideas from the Sarkozy kerfuffle with photographers last week, because Vladimir Putin has gone on a bare-chested photo shoot of his own... I must admit that the guy is waaaay more fit than I am, but that's not any news to anyone remotely familiar with the man's background (or mine ;]). I'm not quite sure that the combat/construction boots really fit in (actually they're quite hideous) but the military fatigues come as close to wearing a uniform Putin will get without creating political turmoil, while he can keep marketing himself as a strongman in charge at home.
