I am made of lightLEDs and LCD, together at last.

So I got Seasonal LED lights.
(We were trained to call them "Seasonal LED lights" at my Toronto Hydro temp job thing I'm doing for money right now, but I thought this was PC nonsense, even though the little voice in my head kept yelling something incomprehensible. So I stuck to "Christmas lights" until I told my friend I bought these, to which he replied: "I thought that you were atheist." Seasonal it is!)

They're all nice colours, somewhat unreal due to their rather low frequency which means that you can almost catch them flicker, but not quite. There are tons of strings of blue and strings of white ones, but these are colder and the white ones are not even pretty. I'm somehow very excited by this. I enjoy my coloured lights very much. Since they're LEDs and consume like 95% less electricity than regular ones, maybe I'll leave them on all the time. Considering that I had not used christmas lights since I lived at the tabhouse, this means that I'd be consuming more electricity with this energy-saving device than if I hadn't gotten them at all. Ahh, the perverse side of conservation efforts.

I got medium-sized bulbs. Maybe I went too big. Maybe I'll exchange them for smaller ones. The actual wiring is big as hell. These guys can easily go outside, which might be overkill for my room.

Sometimes I think that people have difficulty distinguishing the concepts of diversity and neutrality.

Also, one can be an atheist and still acknowledge Christmas. It's called metaphor.

Yeah. But anyway, I plan to leave my lights on year-round like I did at the tabhouse, so there. :]

Then they're hardly seasonal!

Damn you and your semantics! I'll have to stick to descriptive names.
