Transit etiquette: it's pretty much lost.
Even as a pregnant woman, you gotta fight to get a seat on the subway.

Please. Be aware of people around you on the subway. If someone looks frail and/or like they could use some sit-down time, get up!

What about other mass transit systems in the world where people literally crush their way onto the train? What happens to pregnant women then? Do good samaritans form a protective ring around them? Are they just supposed to risk miscarriage or abstain from mass transit until they give birth? Lest we forget that not everyone in Toronto was born and raised in this Shining Beacon of Civility known as Canada...
