Its not like the Buddhists for all of their talk about peace and harmony have treated the Tibetan population very well either. I mean the Dalai Lama and co. used to use Tibet to fund their temples, and used the population as their indentured servants.
well i dont think we have to state which is worse. rather, i think the focus should be how to stand in solidarity with those populations that are being oppressed, whether by buddhist monks or maoists.
