The owner of a company I worked at for a week but resigned from last week just tried to friend me on facebook. I also have never met the guy, and actually had to ask him where I knew him from. Actually, he still hasn't told me that he's one of the owners, I just found out by googling him. He's just given me "you work at [company]" as a reason to friend him, still not telling me how I should know him, since his profile is mostly blank.

Dear past, present and future employers that are creepy enough to have looked up and found my livejournal or my facebook: it probably was a bad idea in the first place, please don't friend me on social networking sites unless you're 100% sure I won't mind. Your presence in my private social circles makes me uncomfortable.
