I don't think I had commented on the Peace prize yesterday, but my first reaction was in the same line as most people in my lists: TOO SOON.

metalana posted a link to Doug Saunder's contention that Obama deserves the Nobel Peace prize, based on how the prize has been awarded in the past, and on the overtures Obama has made, which impact Europe a lot more than America and are taken a lot more seriously there. I think he makes a good case.
