My Met Gala red carpet review:
(Yeah, I'm that kind of person and I'm done keeping it to myself. I don't know who half the celebrities are but I sure do pay attention to their fashion. -1000 punk points to me.)

I'm too lazy to post the pictures with my reviews but you can catch them all here to follow along:

Lots of decent outfits, but nothing really outstanding, as you expect for this event. Kind of a real bummer of a Met Gala. Bad Bunny (who's that) stood out in Margiela and Barry Keoghan was not as thrilling as usual (other than his rock-cut face). Jaden Smith showed up nicely. If I was a dude doing this, I would hire [profile] derekguy from Twitter to get me dressed. Few men seem to have decent stylists. Some of the usual well-dressed queer men were kind of a let down.

Kendall Jenner and J-Lo were amongst the best dressed, which is a bad sign. Some highlights: Venus Williams, Mindy Kahling (!), Keke Palmer, Zendaya (in spite of being underwhelming by her own standards), Gigi Hadid, FKA Twigs. Maybe I should give some props to Kim K, but she used to be explosively good on this red carpet. And where was Florence Pugh? She's been killing it lately...

Special mention to Rita Ora, well dressed but completely undone by Taika's weird leather suit. Might have well been crocodile, or a plain black tux. Special mention to Anok Yai, though she's a 5'10" ebony-black model so she brings her own beauty to any outfit.

Another björk-swan would not have been too much.
