a hardcore show!

I went to see a hardcore show last night! An old friend recommended that I go see local band and friends Kleener and they were phenomenal. It was kind of funny to me that they were the opener and the best band of the night. (Their sound is distorted as hell, you've been warned.) There was also named Ilusión that was excellent (I don't think I've found the right Bandcamp for them, so no link). Nowadays hardcore shows skew older (40+) but there was a fair quantity of younger people there, which was great. There seems to be something of a scene past around High Park? That would be something. I also discovered that a friend of a friend is a sports journalist that I follow on Twitter, and she recently did an interview about Dear Coach's corner with the insane Propagandhi fan podcast, Unscripted Moments. Looking forward to that.

Anyway, that show did me a great bit of good but I still went in bad feeling spiral afterwards. Sigh.
