whose stories are they?A really interesting post by
nextian that starts with Rick Warren's appropriation of the Sh'ma, a Jewish prayer which I still don't quite get. But from there it goes into Judaism's relationship with Christianity, especially the part where Christianity kinda disregards the Old Testament and sees Jews as incomplete, inferior people without the New Testament... I don't care quite much about religion, but this is more about cultural understanding and respect, or the lack thereof, and Judaism and Christianity existing side by side and not suppose to supplant each other, but exist in relation to each other. There are a million comments, some of them piling on with Islam and Seventh Day Adventists and all that jazz. For a quick read, you can do the entry and the first or second page of comments, after a while those who were really meant to respond to it have responded, but I went through the whole thing anyway.
