Musharaf on Daily Show
Sep. 27th, 2006 01:11 amWell, it looks like he had an idea of what he was getting into. I bet you he has a high-powered american PR team that sent him there.
(spoilers?)
Anyway. He was good natured and Stewart was his usual softball, as he is when big shots come through (unless they're Republicans relishing a fight). Mushy did a double-take when after going through pleasantries, Stewart asked him pointblank "where is osama bin laden", but otherwise Stewart was sucking up.
Who's been keeping up with Pakistani politics? I know Musharraf has been saying he'd step down in a while, but then he always pushes that back. Does his memoir signal that something's changing?
It's all puzzling to me.
