I just saw Paul Anka sing Smells Like Teen Spirit on the Jimmy Kimmel Show. It was a surprisingly good cover, he really made it his own while keeping some of the intensity of the original. He's got a whole cover album out. I'm actually tempted to check it out. 8)

the "Black Hole Sun" cover, while excellent, makes me want to go fetal.

Oh, I wouldn't spend my dollars on a multimillionaire singer signed to a multibillionaire label... But I'll get it one way or another ;]

Yeh, Paul Anka is one of those dudes who defies the oldguard. Never count the guy out.

He's like the rock-singer version of Johnny Cash.

I tried getting a few things by him. His covers of Wonderwall and Smells like teen spirit are both neat, but everything else I've heard so far was complete shite.
