Discussion of the lack of a CW: Torture tag.

Someone just straight up posted general details of torture and consequences of torture in Israeli prisons on Twitter and I am not okay. I am fucking not okay. I was bawling for 5 minutes straight. Content Warnings are not useless. This was just text but my imagination could fill the gaps more than adequately. Even with lots left unwritten. I only slept 3 hours last night as I was pushing through a code problem, so I was particularly not ready to take this.

Also pondering Émilie Nicolas writing about the French press writing about atrocities and potential genocide in Rwanda A YEAR AHEAD OF TIME. Le génocide rwandais, 30 ans après. The echoes are deafening.
