Sickness

I started getting sick at some point in Québec City... I was afraid for my ears because for the first time ever, I got serious pressure pain in my ears when I flew to NYC in February that I couldn't resolve with the Valsalva manœuvre (plugging your nose and blowing in your ears), and once again when I was flying to Québec City. I was facing a flight back to Toronto and two flights to get to NOLA in two days. A pharmacist just told me to take a Dristan generic, and that was mostly fine (along with chewing gum). But then I got sicker in NOLA, before I got better. I was eventually good enough to drink, and flying back my ears were great. However after I came back I let anxiety get the better of me and I had two very short nights of sleep in a row, inviting the sickness back in, so my right ear is plugged again, and there's some sinus pain as well. I took Monday off to rest because it was that bad, went to the doctor who prescribed anti-bacterial drops for my ear. Yesterday was good but somehow today is worse? Goddamn it. I even had a super bad cough a little while ago, I had to take some caught syrup before I got too irritated. I really need to stick to a healthy sleep regimen.
