A friend of mine was recently bemoaning the fact that the only conflicts that we hear about are the ones in which the United States are involved in. This friend has a case of Palestine fatigue, where a relatively minor conflict (oh, the heresy!) in relation to others is getting most of the attention from activists and media alike in the West. In this context, the Armed Conflicts Report 2003 by Project Ploughshares is vital in putting things in perspective, and getting informed about what the hell is going on elsewhere. They also give out a free colour poster with all this information for anyone who asks.
