The problem with LJ is we all think we are so close, but really we know nothing about each other. So I want you to ask me something you think you should know about me. Something that should be obvious, but you have no idea about. Ask away.

Then post this in your LJ and find out what people don't know about you.

Possibly TribeView, an ansi viewer. It definitely was the prettiest textmode program I ever used.

In terms of continuous usage, Telegard? :]

Why did you first start caring about politics?

I think that people have to make a serious effort not to care about politics in Québec, because national identity has long been at the centre of politics in a way that is incomparable to the rest of Canada. It is much less so now, but the whole 1976-1995 period was pretty intense for everyone in Québec, I guess. I got interested in politics a bit during the 1988 election (cheering on Mulroney...), a bit more seriously during the first US-Iraq war, and then during the Charlottetown accord, where I had semi-articulated positions for the first time. My first election was actually the 1995 referendum.
