apropos, missnegativity, missruckus, debaucheryofgod, etc.
It's a porno-agit prop-comedy about a Symbionese Liberation Army-like group with blonde-wig wearing leader Gudrun bellowing cries of homosexual revolution amidst the kidnapping of the son of a rich industrialist. It is completely smart and brilliant. It is left while being making fun of the left, it is agit-prop while being critical of agit-prop, it is porn while driving lots of people out of theaters. (There were lots of walkouts, which LaBruce took as a good sign.) It's got tons of great lines, many of which I can't remember but context is everything anyway. It's got fun esthetics completely in line with making an agit-prop film.
If it's coming to the VIFF, check it out! For Torontonians, I think the TIFF will have second screening later this week. It has gotten bad reviews, but F and I think it's totally brilliant.

Oh yeah!! It is all DUBBED, which provides endless laughs, even if that grew out of necessity. It was all shot in Berlin (that's where the action takes place too) with German porn stars (except for Gudrun, who's a real stage actor), quite a few of which could barely speak English. ("English isn't even their second language: they were from East Berlin, which means that Russian was their second language.")
