For fuck's sake, BlueSky is just starting to pick up steam as The One Network to replace Twitter. It's been gaining a million new users every few days recently. Goddamn it. Please don't ruin this.

Hot take: a supposedly enshittification-resistant platform startup taking on funding from dubious crypto hucksters is probably not a bad way to find out if the underlying pitch has merit.

Blegh. Not ideal, though at least the vibe is the VC Money is getting in bc they think it's a good investment (vs taking a loss to buy a propaganda organ)

yeah as long as they don't hope to reach Facebook or even Twitter valuation, it should do well for them. And eventually the ATprotocol should be open enough that people cut eventually cut any grifter nodes, even if it means recreating new accounts elsewhere...
