Sometimes you work in the kitchen for a long time to make a dish and in the end the result is just meh. It's food, it tastes good, but you wonder why you spent so much time on it. Tonight I made a white bean and buttercup squash stew, and a dandelion/spinach/parsley/cauliflower cream, and they're both worth it. Now i even have leftover dandelion leaves and leaf stems, so we'll see what i make with that...
