We've bought a pretty and pretty pricey ceiling fan. Due to a couple snafus, it took us months to get someone put it up. Finally we got it done, and wow how have I lived without that before? I thought it would be like the floor fans but it's a lot more comfortable. Probably has something to do with its 52" diameter. :) Someone actually gave me a window A/C unit earlier this summer but I've resisted putting it up, for a number of dumb reasons but mostly because the heatwaves have topped at 31°C so far, which is about as much as I can tolerate. Also, our place has good air currents when the windows are open, so it doesn't accumulate too much heat, even on a 4th floor. The only downside are the fire truck sirens, as we're living on a busy street that's close to a fire station and is an ambulance route towards the densest concentration of hospitals in the country.

Anyway, time to get ceiling fans for my office and our bedroom.

And while I'm talking about fans... OnlyFans reverses its ban on sex workers! Hurray!
