Don't like drinking sea water?

If you just made a Bloody Mary and realized that you don't like this drink, i.e. it feels like drinking sea water, just pour an ounce of rum in it. It can be any rum, even really shitty rum. I used Old Monk, which I bought once out of curiosity and have been trying to go through ever since. My favourite cocktail is the Uttar Pradesh Buck (my invention!). It'll take the edge off and suddenly it's drinkable.

I basically drowned that Old Monk rum, which is made in Uttar Pradesh, with ginger beer and lime juice. According to this wikipedia page, you name the buck after where its booze comes from. Hence the Uttar Pradesh buck. :)

As far as I'm concerned, bucks are meant to overwhelm the booze's taste. It's tasty with whatever you put in it.
