That Guardian link was non-trivially disturbing, but this seems a little more heartening. I'm not entirely sure what to make of India's role in all this. I'm glad the country is voicing its concerns over civilians, but I am also wary of Delhi's meddling ways, which can have unproductive consequences. Politicians in Tamil Nadu said some remarkable things during the election campaign.
