Interesting. Likely to be repeated a LOT over the next few years, I'd think: how the heck do you keep people from bringing SHOES into a public event?

Eventually, all attendees will be forced to remove their shoes and wear these throwaway sock things they make you wear in some clinics. :P

Thankfully, he spoke with a German accent, so while I'm sure there are Chinese people with a German accent, I'm assuming no one in China will be affected by this move. He just earned a lifetime subscription to the banned visa list.
