Leafs eliminated despite crushing Sens

HAH! HAH! HAH! HAH! HAH! HAH! HAH! HAH! HAH! HAH! HAH! HAH! HAH! HAH!

See how crushing defeat is like!! Feel how it was to be a Nordiques fan!!

Now, grudgingly, I'm putting my hopes in with the Habs. But I'm still weirded out by that.

Yayyyyyy! I hate the Leafs. At least I have something to be happy about as another abysmal Canucks season comes to a close.

I don't know what that's like. I'm a Flyers fan ;).

Now, you guys really sold the house to get Lindros, and we in Québec City were just about to finally make something of that when Colorado stole our team just before it won the Stanley Cup. Ron Hextall was a hoot, he even took on French lessons as soon as he arrived in Québec City. One of my favourite goalies ever for sure.

I note, despite the "crushing", that in the eight games Ottawa and Toronto played this season, Toronto only won the game that 'mattered' to them and didn't matter to Ottawa. I further notice, that in the eight games played, Ottawa outscored Toronto 41-19, including two shut outs. And, if the season finishes with the current standings, Ottawa will play Montreal in the first round. Satisfactory all around.

I always liked the Nordiques jerseys.

Oh, I love the Sens. In spite of my talking of Leafs crushing the Sens, the second occurence of the word had more to do with the Leafs not making the series. I'm a sloppy writer.

The last years of the Nordiques were just a whole series of missed opportunities. It was like being constantly bait-and-switched, with the Cup in Colorado the ultimate insult to a thousand injuries.

As for a potential Sens/Habs series: You guys better get out of that slump if you want to win. :]
