Lenin, our dear leader

So I got this enveloppe in the mail. Recognizing the type's colour, the profile and, well, the party logo on the other side of the enveloppe, there was no mystery to me who this was from, but I showed it to F, asking her who that was on the enveloppe, and she said "The L guy".

So I thought that she got it, that she thought that it was this guy, but no! I said some other comment, and she said "oh, I thought it was Lenin".

And she's right!! Look at the original sillouhette!!

Dude, what do you imagine about NDP members' opinion of Lenin?!

...I would imagine, first of all, that opinion, NDP'er or not, would be hardly undivided.

And second of all, that there would be a lot of other parties willing to drag this up later and use it for propoganda purposes, especially if the next election campaigns started taking a turn for the dirtier...

would be hardly undivided.

Well, I certainly look up to the ideals (classless society, to each according to their ability, etc) of communism in a favourable light, if not at their methods to get there. So it's not as uniform as one would believe.
