Yeah, I know the facts are sketchy (and did acknowledge that I was working on hearsay), but even if that was something else entirely, I thought I needed to address this idea that muslim person praying ==> legitimate reason to call security. I mean not that the criticism is new, but I wanted to make fun of people who feel they're important enough to be a terror target in the first place.
I mean, if it was a protest about free speech issues in the first place, how did this being portrayed as a muslim guy praying come in the conversation at all?
That and the "hi alumni of the program with the professional premium attached to it and the really high unemployment rate amongst graduates, can you give us money to establish a scholarship in the name of the prof who made your life hell" e-mail I got today pretty much remind me of why I tried to spend as little time as possible there.
