I must have seen that scene a billion times and I forget each time that at the end after seducing Bashir, he looks at the camera and tries to seduce the fourth wall, and they fucking left it in.

Hah, I hadn't noticed that. I frankly had forgotten the scene, I'm so happy to have seen this to sear it in my memory. For me it's the "am I a bond girl now?" at the end that had me in stitches...

I was reading a bit about Garak and the character was not supposed to be so prominent but the interaction between Robinson and Siddig was so good that they wrote a lot more of them in over time.
