GoT S03 Reactions
We're going through all of GoT for the first time. We've just finished season 3.
Who am I kidding, we were the last remaining people on the planet who hadn't watched the series]
- Holy cow that was rather brutal (do not go to bed after viewing multiple torture scenes)
- Holy cow lots of it was also rather crassly sexist for often little plot-driving reason
- Jon Snow is fucking irritating, except as a foil for Ygritte
- Sansa is irritating
- I love Lord Baelish, I hope that wasn't a permanent send-off
- First kill for Arya! I hope many more come
- I love Tywin, but I particularly love that scene where they tell Tyrion he'll have to marry Sansa. He then turns to Cersei who had that smug smile and tells her she'll have to marry Loras. "I'm not your broodmare!" was a bloody good line.
- Damn I'll miss Catelyn!!
- Creepy Melisandre!!!
- OH COOL A WHITE SAVIOUR, sigh. That final season shot... Ugh.
- I do like how some magic is present but not a major plot driver.
- Man-crush on Ser Jorah, in spite of his classical cinema stiffness, like Peter O'Toole in Lawrence of Arabia or something...
I almost resent how everyone is oh so pretty, but WOW THE COSTUMES. Out of this world.
