Sarkozy is scary. His face is scary. I guess his policies suck too. I just find him disturbing looking. o_o

And I hear he got voted on charisma too.. weird frenchies. That's pretty American of them so if they get simular policies; no big surprise!

The French are closer to Americans than most people would like to believe. Their historical origins are very similar (except on the religious bit, but even then secularism is quasi-religious and is used as a club just like religion is in the U.S.) and their republicanism gave a distinct flavour to their politics.

I personally find his face amusing.

You're right, I think they are very simular too... Especially in terms of national pride/identity.. However I got the impression France's popculture and tastes was much different.

I'll have to visit again next time I head over to England.
