You speak French as a first language but blog in English. Is this because of the audience you had in mind when you started off?

I live in English Canada. My political thought was mostly acquired in the English language. I have no political connections of any importance to Québec at this point...

Only after scrolling back through your last 40 entries did I realize that your blog is indeed primarily political. I is stoopid. Also, do you think about politics in English?

The language I think in, as far as I'm aware of (which is not always obvious; I'm not entirely convinced that we think in language, to start with), is the language I'm most immersed in at the moment, so right now it's English. But put me in Québec for a few days and suddenly I'm thinking a lot more in French. But it's not just one or the other though.

I usually keep the personal, non-political stuff for tabnet.
